Copyright and Takedown Policy
Version 2.0, effective July 21, 2026. Wallpaper Looma publishes AI-assisted artwork under Looma Studio's human editorial direction and does not intentionally republish third-party wallpaper files.
Rights in Looma material
Looma Studio asserts copyright and related rights in the published images only to the extent recognized under applicable law. It separately retains rights in protectable human-authored or human-directed contributions, including collection selection and arrangement, descriptions, metadata, site copy, branding, and presentation.
The Personal Wallpaper License gives a narrow permission for direct downloads. It does not transfer ownership, exclusivity, or permission to redistribute or commercially exploit the material.
Originality safeguards
The publishing workflow is designed to exclude celebrities, copyrighted characters, franchise imagery, third-party logos, recognizable brand designs, watermarks, and copied stock photographs. Each accepted collection receives visual and metadata review. These safeguards reduce risk but cannot guarantee that an independently created, AI-assisted image will never resemble an existing work, so credible concerns receive manual review.
Submit a third-party rights concern
Use the official channel on the Contact page. Include the exact Wallpaper Looma URL, clear identification of the original work, where the original work can be reviewed, your relationship to the rights holder, reliable contact information, and a good-faith explanation of the claimed conflict. If you act for someone else, include evidence of your authority.
Please state that the information supplied is accurate to the best of your knowledge. Do not send confidential evidence unless it is reasonably needed to evaluate the request.
Review and possible action
Looma Studio may request clarification and may temporarily restrict a questioned file while credible evidence is reviewed. Outcomes may include correcting metadata, replacing an image, removing access, recording the concern for future review, or declining a request that lacks sufficient support. The existence of a review does not itself admit infringement.
Report unauthorized use of Looma material
If you find a Looma file being rehosted, sold, redistributed, or offered for download elsewhere, send the source Looma URL and the unauthorized URL through the Contact page. Screenshots, dates, and marketplace listing details are useful where available.
Do not report a personal, noncommercial display or project that is expressly included with a valid DeviantArt Premium Download under DeviantArt's terms and the applicable listing. The direct-site restriction and DeviantArt's purchase terms are different grants.
Looma Studio may preserve evidence, request removal, use a platform or search provider's reporting process, restrict abusive access, or pursue remedies available under applicable law. No automatic fine or predetermined damages are created by this policy.
Misrepresentation and repeat notices
Do not knowingly submit false ownership claims, altered evidence, or requests intended to suppress lawful content. Repeated unsupported notices may be consolidated, and additional evidence may be required before further action.
Platform purchases do not change ownership
A DeviantArt Premium Download is governed by DeviantArt's mandatory terms and its listing. If a listing offers the stated $5.00 Premium Download, payment does not transfer copyright or grant commercial use, resale, transfer, sublicensing, or distribution of the source file. Personal, noncommercial uses included with the purchase remain governed by DeviantArt's terms and the applicable listing.
